WIRE’s final Professional Development Workshop for 2018 is now open for registration. Places are limited, so secure your place by booking today.  Drawing on more than 34 years of service delivery via our Telephone Support Line, WIRE has developed an absolute must-complete workshop for phone-based workers in Not-For Profit organisations in the community and health sectors. The 3.5 hour workshop is ideal for phone intake and response workers, reception and call centre staff who are the first point of contact for service users and customers. During the work shop participants will learn to:

  • Deal with angry and distressed callers
  • Set boundaries with callers
  • End calls professionally
  • Understand and manage the stress you may feel after a challenging call
