Merri Health | Wandarra Yarning
The Wandarra Yarning Talking Booklet was developed as a resource for Audiology testing and screening in the Aboriginal Community. A consortia of 3 Community Health Services (Merri Community Health Services, Dianella Community Health, and Isis Primary Care) partnered with The Wandarra Aboriginal Corporation and the Hume Elders Planned Activity Group to develop the resource. The talking booklet includes recorded sounds and stories from Elders, as well as art work from the group members and a local Aboriginal Graphic Designer. The project was funded by the Department of Health and Human Services. For more information or copies of the booklet, please contact Maryanne Tadic on 93559990 or Maryanne.Tadic@merrihealth.org.au |
